Customer terms

Terms, cancellation and privacy.

These terms explain what PresGro provides, what you need to provide, how payments work, what happens if either side needs to cancel, and how customer information is handled.

Setup fee first The setup fee starts the build. Monthly billing starts after approval, connection and live launch.
Fair cancellation Refunds are handled fairly, with deductions only for work and costs already incurred where allowed.
You keep control Your domain and business content remain yours. PresGro manages the technical setup and support.

1. Who these terms are with

These terms are between you, the customer, and PresGro, a UK-based managed website service. You can contact PresGro at enquiries@presgro.com or 01787 275264.

If you need formal trading details for accounts, invoices, procurement or legal checks, ask before paying. PresGro will provide the relevant trading details in writing on the order confirmation or invoice.

2. What you are buying

PresGro provides managed website packages for small businesses. The exact package, setup fee, monthly fee and included features are the ones shown on the package page, proposal, invoice, payment page or written confirmation you accept before payment.

  • Starter: a clear one-page managed website.
  • Managed Website: a managed website, normally 3 to 5 pages.
  • Storefront / Advanced: a larger or more tailored website, quoted after review.

Extra pages, extra mailboxes, unusual integrations, ecommerce, copywriting beyond the agreed package, paid advertising, photography, specialist SEO work and broader update work are not included unless PresGro confirms them in writing.

3. When the project starts

A project starts when PresGro has received the setup fee and enough information, content, access or answers to begin. If important information is missing, timescales move until it is supplied.

Any target build time is based on working days and assumes that your brief, content, domain access and feedback arrive when needed.

4. What you need to provide

You are responsible for making sure that:

  • the information you give PresGro is accurate;
  • you have permission to use any logos, photos, wording, reviews, files or brand assets you provide;
  • your website content is lawful and suitable for your business;
  • you provide domain, email, hosting or account access when it is needed;
  • you review drafts and requests for approval within a reasonable time;
  • you tell PresGro about legal, regulatory or industry rules that affect your website.

PresGro can refuse, remove or pause work involving unlawful, misleading, abusive, unsafe or infringing content.

5. Drafts, revisions and approval

PresGro will prepare a first working version based on the selected package and the information provided. Reasonable refinements are included before launch, but the service does not include unlimited redesigns, unlimited pages or a complete change of direction unless agreed separately.

Approval means you have confirmed that the website is ready to go live, or you have asked PresGro to connect or publish it. Monthly billing starts after the site is approved, connected and live.

6. Payments and monthly support

  • The setup fee is a one-time payment for preparing and setting up the website.
  • The monthly fee covers the managed service after launch, including the support included in your package.
  • Monthly billing starts once the website is approved, connected and live.
  • Prices are shown before payment. Advanced or unusual work may need a separate quote.
  • If a payment fails or remains unpaid, PresGro may pause support, updates, email setup work, hosting changes or site access after giving reasonable notice.

7. Cancellation and refunds

PresGro aims to handle cancellation fairly. Nothing in these terms removes your statutory rights.

If you are a consumer

If consumer cancellation rights apply, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online or distance order. If you ask PresGro to begin work during that period, you agree that PresGro may start before the cancellation period ends. If you then cancel, PresGro may deduct a fair amount for work completed and costs already incurred up to the point of cancellation, where the law allows.

If you are a business customer

If you cancel after work has started, PresGro may keep or charge a fair amount for work already done, third-party charges, committed costs and loss directly caused by cancellation. PresGro will not rely on unfair or excessive cancellation charges.

Costs that may not be refundable

Domain registrations, domain renewals, paid third-party services, email provider charges, specialist tools, purchased assets and other external costs may be non-refundable once ordered or used.

Monthly support cancellation

You can cancel monthly support by emailing PresGro. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid monthly period. Part-month refunds are not normally given unless PresGro has failed to provide the agreed service.

8. Ownership, domains and handover

Your business name, domain, logo, photos, wording, supplied content and business information remain yours. PresGro and its suppliers keep ownership of reusable templates, systems, tools, processes, code libraries and know-how used to provide the service.

Where possible, domains should be registered in your name or transferred to your control. If PresGro helps manage domain, DNS, email or hosting setup, you remain responsible for giving accurate registration details and keeping account access safe.

If you leave, PresGro will support a reasonable handover after outstanding charges are paid. Some managed hosting, email, form, security, automation or third-party service features may not transfer exactly as they are.

9. Hosting, email and third-party services

Hosting, SSL, DNS, email and payment services may depend on third-party providers. PresGro will use reasonable care when setting up and supporting those services, but cannot promise that third-party services will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times.

PresGro is not responsible for losses caused by outages, policy changes, account restrictions, price changes or failures by third-party providers outside PresGro's reasonable control.

10. No guaranteed leads, rankings or sales

PresGro works to make your website clearer, more professional and easier for customers to use. PresGro does not guarantee search engine rankings, bookings, enquiries, sales, revenue, advertising results or business growth.

11. Liability

PresGro does not exclude liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

PresGro is not responsible for indirect loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost business, loss of goodwill, search ranking changes, third-party service failures, customer-supplied content, or delays caused by missing information or access.

For business customers, PresGro's total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid to PresGro for the affected service during the 3 months before the issue arose, unless a different written agreement applies.

12. Privacy and data handling

This section is a short privacy notice. PresGro collects the details you submit through forms, email, phone or messages, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, business information, website brief answers, domain preferences and support notes.

PresGro uses that information to:

  • reply to enquiries;
  • prepare quotes, website briefs and project notes;
  • set up websites, domains, hosting, email and support;
  • send project, payment and service messages;
  • keep records needed for accounts, legal obligations and dispute handling.

PresGro does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with service providers where needed, such as hosting, email, payment, domain, analytics, security or backup providers.

Enquiry and project records are kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the relationship, accounts, legal obligations and practical support. You can ask PresGro to correct, delete or provide a copy of your personal information by emailing enquiries@presgro.com.

The website may use essential cookies and basic site measurement or enquiry tracking so PresGro can keep the site secure and understand which pages and forms are working.

13. Governing law and complaints

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer rights that apply to you still apply.

If something is unclear or goes wrong, contact PresGro first at enquiries@presgro.com. PresGro will try to respond clearly and resolve the issue fairly.

14. Changes to these terms

PresGro may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the version accepted when you submit the website brief, pay the setup fee or agree a separate written proposal.
